The Demko-Kanyuk Line

Maria Kanyuk (Oct 07, 1837--?) married Basilus Demko (Feb 15, 1833--Aug 20, 1874). A couple of their children are below (plus pictures!)

Standing is John Demko, husband of Zsuanna Yuhas, with his two oldest children: John Demko Jr, who died at age 5, and Anna Demko. Seated are Anna's godparents. Picture taken almost assuredly in 1891.

John Demko came to Dunmore, Pennsylvania. On May 28, 1887, he married Zusanna (Susan) Yuhas (1869-1930) in Dunmore, PA. They had a total of 15 children, but only 7 made it to adulthood.
