The Pidicks

You'll be referring often to this!

Evelyn Demko (b. 1901) married Jack Pidick. My mom said that her mother always pronounced his surname as PY-ditch, even though many people say PIH-dick. Since these folks are my grandma's aunt and uncle, I'll take her word for it.

The younger Demkos are now of marrying age! To the right of the bride is her younger sister, Helen (Dzurissin), and Veronica Mello (daughter of bride's sister Susan). In the back are the bride's brother Nick, and her niece Anna Mello (Marcinko), who is the daughter of another sister of the bride, Anna. The gentlemen to the left of the groom are unknown.

All we have to go by in the above picture is what's written on the bottom-right corner. The next picture says that Mary Cook is a daughter of Evelyn Demko-Pidick, and based on that next picture, I think Mary Pidick-Cook is on the right in this pic. The bride here is Mary's sister Evelyn Jr.

On the back of this picture, these people are identified as Mary and Bob Cook
June 19, 1979 (Silver Anniversary)

Evelyn Pidick's niece Anna Marcinko has written on the back of this image, "Aunt Evelyn's daughter."
